Ppes Ternak Sdn Bhd is a subsidiary of Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) that offers high-quality live cattle and fresh beef under the exclusive brand Sara-Bif. The company has been in operation since 1983 and has become the main supplier of live cattle in Sarawak. PTSB owns two farms, Karabungan Farm and Siburan Halal Abattoir, with each having its own unique activities. Karabungan Farm, located 75km away from Miri, has a land size of 234.7 hectares and a maximum carrying capacity of 1,000 heads of cattle. The slaughterhouse and facilities have been accredited with halal certification from the Sarawak Islamic Religious Department (JAIS) and Exporter Supply Chain Assurance System (ESCAS), Australia.
