Introduction
Mechmar Boilers Sdn Bhd has been manufacturing boilers since the 1970s. The company’s first boiler, the AYS 2A 350/150, was introduced in 1977. In the 1980s, Mechmar was certified as a Lloyds’ Class 1 Pressure Vessel Manufacturer. The company expanded its regional reach, delivering boilers to Singapore, Australia, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Mechmar also introduced the Titan MTH and Titan MCH, the first thermal fluid heaters, and the first bi-drum water-tube boiler. The company has also invested in its second manufacturing facility in Medan, Indonesia, and is certified ISO 9002 Quality Management. In the 2000s, Mechmar designed and commissioned its first pair of coal-fired high pressure boilers for small-scale power generation.
