Maxco Food Industries Sdn Bhd is a vegetable trading company in Singapore and Malaysia, registered as Maxco Food Industries Pte Ltd in Singapore and Maxco Food Industries Sdn Bhd in Malaysia. The company began growing vegetables in March 2012 and is currently purchasing land in Malaysia to set up a factory for processing, packing, and storage of vegetables. Due to a shortage of agriculture land, rising costs of fertilizer and insecticides, and government intervention on vegetable safety, Maxco Food Industries is focusing on establishing its own farms to maintain high-quality produce. The company plans to build a 50,000sqft factory in 2015 in Machap, Johor, with a 50,000sqft packing section, chillers, and 10,000sqft storage area for hardies.
