Introduction
Karich Sdn Bhd, a pioneer in Malaysian recycling since 1989, began as a metal and plastic collector. In 2000, they expanded to recycle metal, plastic, and paper. In 2005, they offered comprehensive waste management services, including metal recovery, plastic recycling, and waste disposal. In 2009, they collaborated with a local university to conserve natural resources and energy. Karich is the only recycler in Malaysia to use biotechnology to convert organic waste into an alkaline-based organic fertilizer.
