Introduction
Asia Roofing Industries Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Ajiya Berhad, began as a metal roll forming company in 1990. In 1996, the company expanded into producing high-value safety glass products, catering to various users. Ajiya has 18 factories and offices across Malaysia and Thailand. In 2007, it established an overseas presence in Thailand. Ajiya has expanded its business to include a one-stop manufacturer of Industrialised Building Systems (IBS) and Ajiya Green Integrated Building Solutions (AGiBS). Ajiya was listed on the Second Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad in 1996 and transferred to the Main Market in 2003.
